Welcome to Royale Coach Motor Lodge

Located on Lafayette Road in Hampton, New Hampshire, Royale Coach Motor Lodge stands as a budget-friendly choice for travelers seeking comfort without the premium price. This motor lodge, with its origins rooted in the 1960s, offers a nostalgic charm that has been preserved rather than extensively renovated. While some may view this as a drawback, guests consistently highlight the clean and modern furnishings that complement the vintage structure, creating a unique blend of retro and contemporary comfort.

Guests appreciate its simplicity and quaint atmosphere, noting that the rooms provide a restful retreat after a day spent exploring the nearby beaches and local attractions. The proximity to Old Salt Restaurant adds culinary convenience, while the location away from the bustling beachfront offers a quieter environment. Though Lafayette Road is a busy street, the availability of sidewalks ensures walkability and accessibility for visitors looking to explore on foot.

Royale Coach Motor Lodge does not strive to compete with luxury accommodations, but rather embraces its role as a practical, no-frills lodging option. It is especially valued by budget-conscious travelers and those who prioritize location and cleanliness over modern aesthetics. This place is definitely for bargain hunters as it is from the 60’s and has not been remodeled. However, the furniture and bed are modern and it was very clean, comfortable, quaint, and simple. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the Old Salt Restaurant and away from the hustle and noise of the beach front. Lafayette is a busy street with some traffic noise, but there are sidewalks on each side to walk safely to some of the local businesses in town.

I have a single room. Saw the shakey reviews, not really sure why people are complaining. It's a great place to lay your head at night while you enjoy the beach for the weekend. We are not at a 400$ a night room. This place is very reasonable.
